Book Your Visit

We would love to welcome you and your loved ones to Willow & White Bridal to embark on finding your dream dress! Before booking an appointment, have a browse through our designers and collections to make sure our edit of bridal gowns are aligned with your bridal vision.

Appointment Notes

We recommend starting your bridal shopping journey 12-15 months prior to your wedding and having your gown ordered a minimum 10 months prior, to allow time for your alterations.

We only accept bookings if your wedding date and venue are confirmed. We reserve Saturday appointments for brides who are 15 months or less from their confirmed wedding date. If your wedding is over 15 months away, please book a weekday appointment or wait until the recommended shopping timeframe to book a Saturday appointment. Please contact us via email if you are outside of this timeframe and would like to book a Saturday appointment, if we can accommodate you we absolutely will!

We recommend viewing our full collection online prior to booking and making a note of your 6 favourite gowns you would like to try on. You will of course have the chance to browse through the rails during your appointment and your stylist will guide you throughout!

Our made-to-order gowns range from £1600 - £5000 with a large majority of our gowns being in the £2200-£4000 range. These gowns typically take 6-10 months to be made. Anything under 5-6 months will likely require a rush fee. You can view each of our designers price range and lead times on our website. For brides on a smaller budget or tighter timeframe, we have a beautiful selection of dresses available in our sample sale, which are ready to take home on the day.

Wear nude seamless underwear and bring a nude strapless bra with you. If you have a comfy pair of heels, bring those too! We also have heels you can borrow to try on with the dresses.

We have a strict 'no fake tan' policy in place, as this transfers on to our gowns. If you wear fake tan to your appointment and it transfers on to a dress, you will be liable for dry cleaning costs, or we may not allow you to try on the dresses. This is a strict policy we have in place to preserve our gowns and to avoid staining. Light makeup is absolutely fine!

We allow a maximum of 4 guests plus the Bride. This is to ensure the comfort of the Bride, their guests and to offer a relaxing, stress free shopping experience - trust us, too many opinions can be very overwhelming!

Please note we don't allow babies/toddlers in the boutique for appointments. Expensive dresses, light coloured sofas and fragile decor doesn't mix well with children - but more importantly we want you to relax and enjoy your bridal shopping experience! Please email us ahead of booking if you don't have childcare and we will do our best to accommodate for you.

Please arrive on time, unfortunately if you are more than 15 minutes late, we will not be able to see you. The closest car park to the studio is Lowergate Car Park, BB7 1AD, which is connected to Swan Courtyard via a staircase. There are also disabled car parking spaces on Castle Street if you or someone in your party requires disabled access.

Please note our booking fees are non-refundable if you change or cancel your appointment within 72 hours.

Once you have booked your appointment, you will receive a welcome email with a copy of our Bride Guide - please add hello@willowandwhitebridalatelier.co.uk to your address book so it doesn't end up in your spam folder!

F.A.Q's

the finer details...

Your personalised fitting will run for approx 1.5 hours with exclusive use of the studio for you and your guests.

Your styling session will begin by us guiding you through the whole collection, you can then select all the pieces you would like to try whilst we prepare some celebratory drinks. If you have pre-selected any gowns to try on, we will go through these together, selecting 5 gowns to begin with. Your stylist will guide and support you throughout the appointment, listening to your likes and dislikes and may suggest styles you hadn't initially considered. We will of course style any dresses you are loving with veils and accessories to complete your bridal vision!

During your fitting, the first hour is dedicated to trying on your selected gowns, with the remaining 30 minutes dedicated to re-trying your two favourites and celebrations if you fall in love and say 'yes!' However, if we need more time we can book extended appointments or return appointments. Our promise is that you will never feel rushed.

To offer the very best customer experience and to ensure we can comfortably accommodate everyone in our store, we welcome small bridal parties of up to 3 guests plus the bride.

Unfortunately we don't allow babies or children in the boutique for appointments.

Our bridal samples are available to try in UK sizes 8-14, with most of the samples being a size 12. While the fit may not be perfect, our expert stylists are here to guide, pin, and style—helping you envision how each gown will truly look and feel on your wedding day.

Most of our gowns can be made to order in sizes up to a UK 24, and we’ll always advise on the best size based on your measurements. At Willow & White, every bride is celebrated, supported, and styled with care—because finding the one should feel effortless and empowering. If you would like to know the size of a specific dress we have in store, please feel free to send us an email.

In order to ensure you’re not rushed with your decision-making, we recommend that you begin dress shopping 12-15 months in advance of your wedding date and having your gown ordered a minimum 10 months prior, to allow time for your alterations. This is the ideal, not the absolute. Most of our designers take up to 8 months to carefully create your gown and you will require a further 2 months for alterations. If you're on a shorter timeframe, our designers offer rush options (fees apply) or alternatively we have a beautiful selection of sale gowns in store all year round.

Yes, our private fittings are by appointment only to ensure your one-to-one styling session is exclusive and personal. Please use our online booking system to book an appointment. If you need a later appointment, we dedicate Thursday evenings for our busy brides. If an appointment is needed outside of our opening hours, please just ask. We will always do our best to accommodate.

While we are more than happy for you or your guests to take photos of you in the dresses, we ask that this is kept to a minimum of one or two photos. We want your guests to be present while you are wearing the dress, so we ask that photos are taken just before you take the dress off. It is so important to be in the moment and remember how you feel wearing the dress, rather than enduring a photoshoot during this very special moment.

If you find your dream bridal look with us, first we celebrate with a glass of fizz - welcome to the Willow & White family!

Once we have celebrated, hugged and cried happy tears, your stylist will then take your measurements and prepare the paperwork. A 50% non refundable deposit will be taken to allow us to order your dress. Sizing will be discussed with you in store, ordering your gown to your closet possible size on the designers size chart based on your measurements taken. The due date of the remaining balance for your order will be discussed with you in store, as this varies by designer.

Once your gown has arrived in store, had it's final inspection and steamed, you will be invited to book your dress collection appointment where you will try your dress on for the first time and we can enjoy another glass of fizz together.

Alterations are not included in the price of your dress and we do not have an in-house seamstress. We do, however, provide you with details of our recommended highly experienced bridal seamstresses who are local to Clitheroe, as well as several other well respected bridal seamstresses across the Manchester area. It is up to you, the bride, to book in with the seamstress, and we recommend booking in as soon as you have purchased your dress.

You do not have to use our recommended seamstresses, you can take your dress to any seamstress you chose.

Please note, we are not in any contractual agreement with the seamstress, and do not receive any payment for your business with them.

We recommend wearing nude, seamless underwear and a nude strapless bra. Please feel free to bring any other support underwear too! We also advise bringing a comfy pair of heels with you to wear while trying on the dresses, however we do have a pair of heels you can use in store.

Yes, we kindly ask that you give us at least 72 hours notice if you need to cancel or re-schedule your appointment. Since we are appointment-only, we thank you in advance for your cooperation, as we take in a very limited number of brides a day.

If you cancel your appointment within 72 hours, booking fees are non-refundable.

If you need to re-schedule your bridal appointment with us, you have a 4 week period to re-book. After this time you will lose your deposit.

We store your gown free of charge for up to one calendar month after we have been in contact to let you know your gown is ready for collection. We ask, where possible, that you collect within the month.  After the first month, we charge £1 per day to store your gown. Please note that whilst we will take every care to protect your gown during storage, Willow & White Bridal is not liable for losses or damages and gowns are stored with us at your own choice and risk.

If you have any further questions please email hello@willowandwhitebridalatelier.co.uk - we are here to support you in any way we can.
